I build and restore cedar and canvas canoes since 1995. My shop is located in Frampton, a small
village in the Beauce-Nord County (province of Québec in Canada).
Etchemin is the name of the river near my shop where I have learned the skills of canoeing.
Today, many people think that the place for wooden canoes is in the museums. The reality is that masters in
canoeing still find, in these canoes, qualities that keep them unequaled. After 150 years of history, this
type of canoes is still among the best for flotation, longevity and manoeuvrability.
